Dr. Mimi Guarneri is Board-certified in Cardiovascular Disease, Internal Medicine, Nuclear Cardiology, and Integrative Holistic Medicine. Dr. Guarneri is a Founder and President of The Academy of Integrative Health and Medicine. She serves on the Founding Board of the American Board Physician Specialties in Integrative Medicine, and is a Clinical Associate Professor at University of California, San Diego.


Patrick Hanaway

Patrick Hanaway, MD is a board-certified family physician trained at Washington University. Dr. Hanaway served on the Executive Committee for the American Board of Integrative Medicine and is Past President of the American Board of Integrative Holistic Medicine. Lise Alschuler

Naturopathic Dr Board certification in naturopathic oncology

Lise Alschuler, ND, FABNO, eMBA is a naturopathic doctor with board certification in naturopathic oncology and has been practicing since 1994. Dr. Alschuler is a Professor of Clinical Medicine at the University of Arizona where she is the Associate Director of the Fellowship in Integrative Medicine at the Andrew Weil Center for Integrative Medicine.


Scott Shannon

MDMA assisted psychotherapy and child/adolescent psychiatry

Scott Shannon has been a student of consciousness since his thesis on that topic at the University of Arizona in the 1970s. Following medical school, MDMA assisted psychotherapy became part of his practice before this medicine was scheduled in 1985. He completed a psychiatry residency at a Columbia program in New York.

Donald M. Berwick is one of the leading scholars, teachers, and advocates in the world for the continual improvement of health care systems. He is a pediatrician, and a longstanding member of the faculty of Harvard Medical School. He founded and led the Institute for Healthcare Improvement, now the leading global nonprofit organization in its field.


Rashmi Mullur

Endocrinology of David Geffen School of Medicine

Dr. Rasmi Mullur is a pioneering endocrinologist known for her integrative approach to diabetes care. Her upcoming talk, 'Whole Health Approach to Diabetes Care,' at this year's conference will reflect her expertise in mind-body and integrative approaches for patients with diabetes, as well as her leadership at the VA in implementing Whole Health.


Brent Anderson

Physical Therapist & Orthopedic-Certified Specialist

Dr. Brent Anderson (PT, PhD, OCS, NCPT) is a licensed physical therapist and orthopedic-certified specialist who has practiced physical therapy for more than 30 years. In 1989, he received his degree in physical therapy from the University of California San Francisco and completed his studies in the Pilates method with Elizabeth Larkam at the Center for Sports Medicine at Saint Francis Memorial Hospital in San Francisco, California.


Russ Greenfield

Physician Consultant

Russell H. Greenfield, M.D. is Sr. Physician Consultant for the Office of Patient Centered Care and Cultural Transformation for the Veterans Health Administration and maintains a private consultative Integrative Medicine practice. He previously served as Sr. Director of Employee Whole Health for Whole Health Institute (WHI) where he was responsible for developing corporate partnerships and implementing programs in support of employee health and well-being.


Fasih Hameed

Family Medicine

Fasih Hameed studied philosophy at Brown University and completed his MD at Tulane University School of Medicine. During his family medicine residency in Santa Rosa he began work on an Integrative Medicine task force which resulted in the establishment of a new fellowship. The Integrative Medicine for the Underserved (IM4U) fellowship was the second IM fellowship in the nation to focus on bringing holistic care to underserved populations and is currently in its 16 th year. After helping to create the fellowship and serving as the first fellow, Fasih continued this work at the Petaluma Health Center.


Mary Jo Kreitzer

Founder & Director of Earl E. Bakken Center for Spirituality & Healing

Mary Jo Kreitzer PhD, RN, FAAN is the founder and director of the Earl E. Bakken Center for Spirituality & Healing at the University of Minnesota where she also serves as a tenured professor in the School of Nursing. She has served as the principal investigator or co-principal investigator of numerous clinical trials focusing on mindfulness meditation with persons with chronic disease including studies focusing on solid organ transplant, cardiovascular disease, chronic insomnia, diabetes, and caregivers of people with Alzheimer’s disease.


Kavitha Reddy

Associate Director of Employee Whole Health

Kavitha Reddy is currently the Associate Director of Employee Whole Health in the Veterans Health Administration’s (VHA) Office of Patient-Centered Care and Cultural Transformation (OPCC & CT). She is a practicing Emergency Medicine Physician with fellowship training in Integrative Medicine, at VA St. Louis Healthcare System in Missouri. She is an Assistant Professor in Emergency Medicine at the Washington University School of Medicine.


Pamela Ayo Yetunde

Pastoral Council

Pamela Ayo Yetunde is a pastoral counselor in private practice. She is an award-winning author and wrote Casting Indra's Net: Fostering Spiritual Kinship and Community, one of the best spirituality books written in 2023 according to Spirituality and Practice. Ayo is a contemplative, and contemplation informs her counseling practice.
